HealthStream Reports Upbeat Results, Joins Spotify, Ryder System And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Tuesday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining over 200 points on Tuesday.

Shares of HealthStream, Inc. HSTM rose sharply during Tuesday's session following upbeat quarterly results.

HealthStream posted first-quarter GAAP earnings of 17 cents per share, beating market estimates of 11 cents per share. The company's quarterly sales came in at $72.760 million versus expectations of $71.883 million, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

HealthStream shares jumped 7.4% to $25.91 on Tuesday.
