RTL Group Posts Rise In H1 Profit

RTL Group SA RGLXY reported a rise in its net profit in the first half of the year. RTL Group's net profit for the period surged around 53% to 418 million euro ($557.6 million). Its revenue dropped 1.3% to EUR2.78 billion, while earnings before interest, tax and amortization rose 9.1% to EUR552 million. RTL Group shares closed at $9.38 yesterday.
