In the space, Halliburton Company HAL gained 3.77%, and Schlumberger Limited SLB added 3.20%. Basic materials names traded higher on Tuesday, along with ProShares Ultra Basic Materials (ETF) UYM. Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. FCX spiked 5.69%, and UYM jumped 6.30%.
