Cannabis consumption technology producer, Weedgets, is partnering with the American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA). Under this collaboration, Weedgets was granted rights to use the ACNA stamp on all marketing and educational materials as well as on updated product packaging. The partnership will involve co-branded advertising initiatives throughout the year.
“We are proud to align with the American CannabisNurses Association (ACNA),” stated Michael Barenboym, CEO and founder of Weedgets. “Our range of hardware and accessories was designed with patients in mind, and this partnership will provide greater access to those in need. We are excited to progress together!”
Benzinga asked Barenboym what ACNA’s sponsorship means for the company and what the nurses’ association’s stamps on its products and marketing materials would mean for customers.
"Working with – and getting approval from – such a respected organization like the ACNA validates our commitment to consumption for all," Barenboym told Benzinga. "Our patented integration of filtering and real-time (smoke) cooling into daily use will benefit those with weakened lungs."
This announcement signifies the official endorsement by ACNA of Weedgets’ flagship Maze-X pipe. It will also involve co-creating regional showcases, educational webinars and materials, product marketing sheets and featuring thought leadership in ongoing communications and newsletters.
“The American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA) is dedicated to its members, ensuring they have access to top-quality medical-grade products,” said ACNA president Nicole Foss in a statement. “Partnering with Weedgets, a renowned innovator in hardware, allows us to uphold our commitment. We look forward to launching co-branded activities throughout the year for the benefit of all our registered patients.”
Why Weedgets?
How and why did ACNA choose to partner with Weedgets?
"ACNA endorsed Weedgets' Maze-X pipe because of its unique focus on safer cannabis consumption through filtering and real-time cooling of the smoke," Foss told Benzinga. "Weedgets’ commitment aligns with ACNA’s mission of promoting education to patients and cannabis consumers. The Nurse’s role in cannabis medicine is to educate the consumer and discuss risk-reduction. The endorsement validates Weedgets’ efforts and assures consumers of their product’s quality. ACNA’s stamp on Weedgets’ packaging signifies a shared dedication to prioritizing consumer well-being and innovation."
Barenboym continued to explain the significance of the endorsement. "Using the ACNA stamp on future packaging is about more than selling more products; it's validation that we are on the right track as a company."
What's next?
"The next step in this partnership is working on our co-branded educational roll-out, including newsletters, webinars, thought leadership, and showcases, which have been created to showcase the wide range of benefits for all registered patients of the ACNA," Barenboym concluded.
