Microsoft MSFT purchased Nokia's NOK, while rumors insisted that BlackBerry BBRY wished it had been acquired as well. Apple AAPL confirmed the existence of not one but two events next week -- one in America and one in Beijing. Google GOOG, Samsung SSNLF and Amazon AMZN also made their way into headline-stealing reports.
