Inter Miami star and World Cup champion Lionel Messi surprised fans with his unexpected cameo in the latest Bad Boys 4 trailer.

Why? This surprise was not just due to his presence but also because Messi — known for playing with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain and hailing from Argentina — spoke English publicly for the first time.

In the teaser, Messi humorously interacts with movie stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. He rings in on the actors, asking: “Bad boys?”

This prompts a humorous response from Lawrence: “Wrong casa.” Smith adds, “Yeah, they live down there… bad boys is at the other… thing,” before they shut the door on Messi’s face, with Lawrence concluding, “Mucho gusto.”

Fans were thrilled and taken aback by Messi’s English debut. Comments flooded in, with one fan noting, “Messi said ‘Bad Boys' and the whole internet is going wild he spoke English for the first time ever.”

The trailer also features NBA star Jimmy Butler, who is set to join the Bad Boys team. See below.

Two days ago, Smith shared a video on his Instagram account, alongside co-star Lawrence, where he is seen playing soccer in a garden when Messi unexpectedly joins in, kicking the ball towards the camera.

The video, captioned “Kicking it with the boys,” has garnered significant attention and excitement on social media, marking a notable moment since the actor’s controversial incident at the 2022 Oscars ceremony.
