Andrew Left of Citron Research Says 'The Prosecution of Trump Appears to Be Driven by Political Motives, Which Is Detrimental to Our Nation'

Andrew Left of Citron Research, which rose to fame for their role in exposing Valeant Pharmaceuticals, has taken to X to voice his concerns over the ruling in the Trump trial.

Using Citron Research’s X handle, Left said, “The prosecution of Trump appears to be driven by political motives, which is detrimental to our nation. This perspective isn’t rooted in a belief that he is innocent of the charges but rather in the selective nature of this prosecution.”

Left goes on to provide context, including frauds and scandals that he has been very vocal about in the past, including SPACs with questionable projections, Wells Fargo creating unauthorized accounts, and criminal actions in the opioid epidemic, all of which went “unpunished” by criminal law.

Here’s the full post on X:

  • Massive Demand & Disruptive Potential – Boxabl has received interest for over 190,000 homes, positioning itself as a major disruptor in the housing market.
  • Revolutionary Manufacturing Approach – Inspired by Henry Ford’s assembly line, Boxabl’s foldable tiny homes are designed for high-efficiency production, making homeownership more accessible.
  • Affordable Investment Opportunity – With homes priced at $60,000, Boxabl is raising $1 billion to scale production, offering investors a chance to own a stake in its growth.

“From this vantage point, we’ve witnessed far greater crimes than the Stormy Daniels hush money case,” Left said. “It's not the crime but the identity of the perpetrator and the motivations driving the prosecution that warrant scrutiny here.”

Left is just one of many big-named investors airing out their concerns over the ruling in the Trump trial.
