Sony Group Corp.‘s SONY FromSoftware, the developer of Elden Ring, has urged fans to avoid spoiling the upcoming expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, after significant details, including the final boss fight, were leaked online.

“With the release of the expansion of Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree, please be mindful of spoilers for those who want to tread into the Realm of Shadow with nothing but their determination and their minds unclouded,” the company posted on X/Twitter.

Moreover, they thanked fans for their cooperation and advised those eager for the DLC to steer clear of social media and online discussions to avoid spoilers.

As with previous FromSoftware games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, accessing the DLC involves completing several challenging tasks, including defeating an optional boss.
