Palantir And Voyager Space Strengthen Alliance To Boost Defense And Space Tech With AI Integration

Zinger Key Points
  • Palantir and Voyager Space partner to enhance defense tech with AI, focusing on solid fuel thruster data and optical communications.
  • The collaboration aims to integrate Palantir's AI tools across Voyager's operations, improving real-time data processing.

On Thursday, Palantir Technologies Inc. PLTR inked a pact with Voyager Space.

Together, Voyager and Palantir will advance the space and defense technology sectors by integrating Palantir’s AI tools across the Voyager enterprise.

The partnership enhances Voyager’s defense segment by leveraging AI to analyze and enhance flight and testing data for solid fuel thrusters. Palantir’s software supports real-time signal data processing and improves targeting for Voyager’s optical communications systems used by DoD customers.

Voyager will leverage Palantir Foundry and the Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) to drive value in its in-house payload management system for International Space Station customers today, as well as onboard the Starlab commercial space station in the future.

“We look forward to deepening our collaboration with Voyager Space,” said Shyam Sankar, CTO of Palantir. “Palantir is committed to building transformative AI solutions across every domain.”

Earlier this month, Palantir was named the exclusive supplier of enterprise-wide software data management solutions for the Starlab commercial space station, a U.S.-led global joint venture involving Voyager Space, Airbus SE EADSYMitsubishi Corporation, and MDA Space.

“We could not be more enthusiastic about our partnership as we work to extend our competitive edge through the provision of decisive and real-time intelligence around the world and in space,” recently said Alexander C. Karp, co-founder and chief executive officer of Palantir.

Price Action: PLTR shares are trading higher by 2.78% to $24.77 at last check Thursday.
