HTC has announced that it will soon introduce four smartphone models under its own name in China. The company aims to establish its brand in the world’s largest mobile market. SLM also plans to sell its government-subsidized loan portfolio worth $145 billion. The company is considering converting a portion of its platform into a traditional deposit-taking bank. According to unidentified sources, George Soros is about to buy a 4% stake in the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). India’s high-growth financial markets are seeing a rise in foreign investor interest (FII). As per the domestic rules, individual foreign entities can buy a maximum of 5% stake in a local bourse.
