U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining over 1% on Thursday.

Shares of Parker-Hannifin Corporation PH rose sharply during Thursday's session following better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results and upbeat FY25 guidance.

Parker Hannifin reported fourth-quarter sales growth of 2% year over year to $5.186 billion and +3% organic growth, beating the consensus of $5.082 billion.

Parker-Hannifin shares jumped 9.8% to $562.79 on Thursday.
