Mad Money Lightning Round: Jim Cramer Says He Is An Ardent Buyer Of Citigroup

In his Thursday’s “Mad Money Lightning Round,” Jim Cramer said that Tim Geithner (Treasury Secretary) is selling Citigroup C and he is the buyer of these shares. “Treasury's been unloading stock... and the stock doesn't go down. What does that tell you? And Vikram Pandit... I think is doing a dynamite job," he added. When asked about Sherwin-Williams SHW, Jim said that he likes Sherwin-Williams as “it is a growth stock." Cramer mentioned that he is not interested in Microsoft MSFT and he refused to recommend it. “I'm going to say strictly, 'don't buy'... and strike," he stressed. For Teva Pharmaceuticals TEVA, Cramer said that it is the worst acting stock and is highly overdone. He mentioned that the company has lost $6 billion in market cap to a drug that is going to generate $2 billion in sales in 2014. He stressed that the company is a buy. Jim said that Ciena CIEN is a multi-year story, although everyone hates it. “It's all about the voice network going to the... the terrestrial thing going to the cellular... you could call it the bandwidth explosion. Ciena's fine! It doesn't go down on the bad days, it'll go up on the good days," he added. To see more trading ideas, click here.
