Zinger Key Points
  • Nowadays launches THC canned cocktails in four flavors, each with 5mg of THC.
  • The canned cocktails offer a light, enjoyable buzz without alcohol's negative effects.

Nowadays, a company recognized for its cannabis-infused spirits, is expanding its portfolio with the launch of THC-infused canned cocktails. The brand, which debuted in April 2023, is quickly establishing itself as a leader, boasting accolades such as Fast Company's 2024 Most Innovative Companies and Breakout Brand at the Chilled100 Spirit Awards.

This latest offering, dubbed Nowadays THC Canned Cocktails, features a low-dose variety with 5mg of THC per can. It’s available in four distinct flavors: Original, Spicy Lime, Citrus and Berry. A variety pack option is also available, allowing consumers to explore all the flavors in one go. Each 12oz can deliver a balanced, enjoyable experience, made from a combination of cannabis-infused spirits, carbonated water and natural fruit essences, all while maintaining a calorie count of 25 or less.

“Expanding into canned cocktails was a natural next step for us,” said Justin Tidwell, CEO and co-founder of Nowadays. “Our bottled spirits have been incredibly successful, and we wanted to build on that by taking everything consumers love about Nowadays and creating a canned version for an elevated ready-to-drink experience. With this innovation, we can reach even more people and continue growing the brand."

The THC-infused beverage promises effects within 15 minutes of consumption, offering a compelling alternative to alcohol. The experience is light, smooth and refreshing, without any of the hangover effects associated with traditional alcoholic drinks.

A limited preview sale for Nowadays THC Canned Cocktails began today, with six packs available for purchase at trynowadays.com. General sales will begin the week of September 2nd, retailing at $31.95 for a six-pack of 12oz cans. The brand plans to introduce a stronger option, with 10mg THC per can, later this year.
