Sherwin-Williams hit a fresh all-time high on Friday. The chart looks like a new breakout is in progress, he noted.
On July 23, Sherwin-Williams said second-quarter adjusted earnings came in at $3.70 per share, beating the Wall Street view of $3.48. The company raised 2024 adjusted EPS guidance to $11.10-$11.40 (from $10.85-$11.35) versus the $11.37 estimate. It expects consolidated net sales to be up a low-single-digit percentage (vs. up low to mid-single digit percentage earlier) compared to the full year 2023.

On July 23, Visa reported quarterly earnings of $2.42 per share which met the analyst consensus estimate. Quarterly sales came in at $8.9 billion. They missed the analyst consensus estimate of $8.92 billion by 0.18% and representing a 9.57% increase over sales of $8.12 billion from the same period last year.
Jenny Van Leeuwen Harrington of Gilman Hill Asset Management said NNN REIT, Inc. NNN has a 5% yield.
On Aug. 21, Raymond James analyst RJ Milligan maintained NNN REIT with an Outperform rating and raised the price target from $47 to $48.
