Sony Group Corp. SONY has launched a new Accessories app for Windows, enabling PC users to customize their PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge controllers.
This app provides features such as adjusting button assignments, stick sensitivity, and trigger deadzones, bringing much of the PlayStation 5’s controller customization functionality to the PC platform.

Replacing the 2022 “Firmware updater for DualSense wireless controller” app, the new Accessories app allows for more than just firmware updates.
Now, users can manage various aspects of their DualSense Edge and standard DualSense controllers directly from their PC.
This development is part of Sony’s broader effort to integrate more of its PlayStation ecosystem with the PC. Sony has previously ported several major titles to PC, including Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and The Last of Us Part I.
Additionally, the company introduced a PC adapter for its PSVR 2 headset earlier this year, although some technical issues still need to be addressed.
Earlier this year, Sony also released a PlayStation PC overlay, which includes access to friends lists, Trophies, settings, and PlayStation accounts, although it is currently only available with Ghost of Tsushima.
