CIRCOR International Reports Mixed Earnings (CIR)

CIRCOR International, Inc. CIR reports Q2 earnings of $0.44 versus estimates of $0.38. CIRCOR International, Inc. reports Q2 revenues of $168 million versus estimates of $172.42 million. Revenues increased 2.1% year over year. "CIRCOR performed well from an operational perspective during the second quarter of 2010," said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bill Higgins. He added, "Our segments reported sequential improvements in adjusted operating income as we continue to focus on our lean manufacturing, global sourcing and productivity initiatives. Revenues and EPS were within our guidance range if you exclude the negative effect of foreign currency and Leslie Controls' bankruptcy and asbestos charges from our actual results and our guidance." Shares of CIR are flat in the after-hours.
