The BCB Mastermind CEO Intensive is bringing its national education series to Detroit.

Backed by a multi-state cannabis operator Parallel Cannabis, this no-cost program is offering mentorship, training and key insights into the cannabis industry for minority entrepreneurs and executives.

The two-day event, during which cannabis founders and professionals will complete structured exercises and receive mentorship from industry experts and practitioners, will take place on Sept. 19 and 20.

Todd Hughes, BCB Mastermind's co-founder, says minority entrepreneurs should seize many opportunities Michigan's burgeoning market has to offer. Michiganders spent on cannabis $295.4 million during the last month only.

“With the cannabis industry surpassing $3 billion in sales in Michigan alone, there is a tremendous opportunity for minority entrepreneurs to lead and thrive,” Hughes said. “By bringing our proven program to Michigan, we are ensuring that minority business leaders are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and network needed to drive change and shape the future of the cannabis industry, both locally and nationwide.”

In conjunction with the CEO Intensive, BCB Mastermind will also be hosting a Cannabis Equity Mixer on Sept. 20 at The Shadow Gallery.

“BCB Mastermind is committed to empowering Black and minority entrepreneurs in Michigan's cannabis industry by breaking down barriers and providing essential resources,” Brandon L. Wyatt, Esq., BCB Mastermind co-founder, said. “We're focused on building a future where inclusion leads the market, ensuring that those who helped create this industry now have the opportunity to thrive within it.”
