Applied Therapeutics, PowerFleet, VF Corp, Victoria's Secret And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Wednesday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow Jones index falling around 0.2% on Wednesday.

Shares of Applied Therapeutics, Inc. APLT rose sharply during Wednesday's session after the FDA communicated that an advisory committee meeting would no longer be required.

Applied Therapeutics shares jumped 72% to $8.00 on Wednesday.

Here are some other big stocks recording gains in today's session.

  • Intuitive Machines, Inc. LUNR shares surged 52% to $8.19 after the company announced it was awarded a NASA Near Space Network contract for communication and navigation services, with a maximum potential value of $4.82 billion.
  • PowerFleet, Inc. AIOT gained 13% to $5.26 after the company announced it entered into a definitive agreement for the acquisition of Fleet Complete for $200 million.
  • Bausch + Lomb Corporation BLCO surged 7.5% to $19.96.
  • Braskem S.A. BAK gained 7.5% to $7.43. UBS analyst Luiz Carvalho upgraded Braskem from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $7.7 to $10.
  • i-80 Gold Corp. IAUX jumped 7.5% to $1.15. The company announced the appointment of Richard Young as CEO.
  • Terns Pharmaceuticals, Inc. TERN gained 7% to $10.31.
  • V.F. Corporation VFC surged 6.9% to $19.67. Barclays analyst Adrienne Yih upgraded VF from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised the price target from $19 to $22.
  • Gannett Co., Inc. GCI gained 6.6% to $5.83.
  • Gyre Therapeutics, Inc. GYRE surged 6.1% to $14.89.
  • Victoria’s Secret & Co. VSCO rose 5.9% to $25.71. Barclays analyst Adrienne Yih upgraded Victoria’s Secret from Underweight to Equal-Weight and raised the price target from $23 to $25.  
  • e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. ELF gained 4.6% to $117.55.
