Tesla Inc TSLA is set to make its return to the Paris Motor Show in October, adding to an exciting month for the electric vehicle sector and investors headlined by the company's robotaxi day.
What Happened: Over the years, Tesla missed out on attending the event, the Le Parisien Journal reports.
"Like a World Cup without Brazil," a visitor at the 2022 Paris Motor Show previously said.
This year, Tesla is expected to attend the event, which is being held from Oct. 14 to Oct. 20 at the Porte de Versailles.
The Austin, Texas-based company is expected to showcase multiple vehicle models, including the Model S, 3, X and Y and the recently launched Cybertruck.
Launched in November 2023, the Cybertruck is one of the most anticipated vehicles of all time and has a long wait list. While the vehicle is not yet available to drive in France, the vehicle's presence at the auto show will likely be one of the most talked items from the Paris Motor Show, the report said.
"Attendees will also be able to discover our charging stations, with the most extensive charging network in the world," Tesla said, according to the report.
Tesla will also highlight its Tesla Energy segment during the motor show, which could include highlights like solar roofs and Powerwall energy solutions.
Along with its vehicles, Tesla is also expected to have its Optimus humanoid robot on hand.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk is not expected to attend but could be featured in a virtual presentation.

Why It's Important: Tesla's appearance at the auto show in October adds to an exciting month for the electric vehicle giant.
The company hosts its Robotaxi Day on Oct. 10. Tesla will also report third-quarter vehicle production and delivery figures at the beginning of October and is expected to report third-quarter financial results during the month as well.
Tesla last attended the Paris Motor Show in 2018 and presented its Model 3 vehicle. The electric vehicle company has grown significantly since that time and now has multiple vehicles to show off.
The appearance of the Cybertruck and Optimus could be highlights as Tesla makes infrequent appearances at auto shows.
In September, Tesla attended the Detroit Auto Show for the first time in eight years. Similar to the Paris Motor Show, Tesla's last appearance at that auto show came before several of its key vehicles were released.
TSLA Price Action: Tesla stock is down 1% to $254.27 on Tuesday versus a 52-week trading range of $138.80 to $271.00. Tesla stock is up 2% year-to-date in 2024.
