In a report published Friday, Credit Suisse analyst Joel Simkins upgraded the rating on Carnival Corporation & PLC CCL from Neutral to Outperform, and raised the price target from $30.00 to $43.00.
In the report, Credit Suisse noted, “CCL has been a frustrating story, keeping us on the sidelines since our April 2011 initiation. Continued snafus as well as a failure to leverage its leading market position largely contributed to our Neutral view. We have been hoping that new CEO Arnold Donald could be a change agent and it appears that CCL is making some positive steps towards a business transformation.”
Carnival Corporation & PLC closed on Thursday at $38.05.
