Sidus Space, Inc. SIDU shares are rising following the announcement that the company has been selected to design and build the first generation of data storage spacecraft for Lonestar, a provider of premium data storage services.

This partnership designates Sidus as Lonestar’s exclusive satellite manufacturing partner for six spacecraft that will orbit the Moon, providing advanced data storage and disaster recovery capabilities for mission-critical information.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sidus will oversee the design, payload integration, planning, and on-orbit support for each of the six satellites. These spacecraft will be tailored to meet Lonestar’s standards for secure, redundant data storage, positioning the company as a leader in deep space data storage for high-stakes applications.
