The iconic "Breaking Bad" house in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is up for grabs for $4 million because the current owner is fed up with constant attention from fans of the show.

The house was the TV residence of Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, his wife Skylar and their son Walt Jr. in the AMC series "Breaking Bad," which aired from 2006 to 2013.

Joanne Quintana, who grew up in the ranch-style house, initially enjoyed the filming and interaction with the cast and crew, according to the New York Post.

Quintana recalls baking cookies for the cast and crew during filming. However, she shared with Albuquerque news outlet KOB 4 that Cranston could only enjoy one cookie on the last day of shooting because of his character's cancer diagnosis, which required him to maintain a lean appearance.

But the novelty soon wore off as fans turned the quiet location into a tourist destination. The constant stream of visitors became a nuisance, leading to the decision to sell.

At first, the Quintanas enjoyed interacting with fans and even embraced the unique circumstances of living in a renowned television landmark, where they have resided since 1973.

But the constant stream of visitors soon became overwhelming and the situation escalated with the unwelcome delivery of packages intended for the fictional Walter White.

"Around 4:30 in the morning, the doorbell rang. My mom got up and opened the door and it was a package," Quintana recalled.

The package prompted the family to call the bomb squad. Even after installing a fence, the property remained a target for curious "Breaking Bad" fans, who continued to drive by and gawk at the house.

"We average 300 cars a day. Come Balloon Fiesta, hundreds of thousands come for balloons. Balloons go up, they come down. Where do they come from? Here," Quintana told KOB.

Quintana's frustration with the constant stream of visitors reached a boiling point. In a 2023 incident reported by the Daily Mail, she was captured on video yelling, "Get out, you Mexican trash," at a couple filming the house.

Some "Breaking Bad" enthusiasts have even taken their admiration to extremes, mimicking a famous scene from the show by tossing entire pizzas onto the garage’s roof.

"Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan admonished fans for their poor behavior.

"There is nothing original or funny or cool about throwing a pizza on this lady's roof," Gilligan said on a 2022 "Better Call Saul" podcast. "She is the sweetest lady in the world and if you are getting on her nerves, you are doing something seriously f**king wrong."
