3PAR Jumps On Acquisition News

Shares of 3PAR Inc PAR are rising after Dell Inc DELL agreed to acquire PAR. PAR’s shares gained 85.85% to $17.93 at 11:00 am. DELL has agreed to buy PAR for $1.15 billion or $18 in cash for each share of 3Par, representing an 86% premium to the Friday’s closing price of 3Par. 3PAR’s shares have lost 4.17% over the last week and fell 18.57% so far this year.
