New 52-Week High Stocks (AMD, CHS, HL, DE, CML)

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE: AMD) hits a new 52-week high at $7.24 in today’s morning session. Currently AGO is trading at $7.17, up 8.46% after today announced that it will redeem all outstanding principal amount of its 7.75% Senior Notes due 2012 (the "Notes") on December 18, 2009. The notice of redemption will be mailed to the holders of the Notes on November 18, 2009.

Hecla Mining Company (NYSE: HL) soared 4.55% to $6.44 on huge volume of 9.55 million shares. Today SYKE has made a new 52-week at $6.54. So far this year HL is up over 125%.

Chico's FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS)is another stock which made a new 52 week high at $15.43 and now trades at $14.83, increased by $1.34 or 10% after it reported Q3 EPS of $0.13, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenue for the quarter was $446.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $414.70 million.

Deere & Company (NYSE: DE) today broke its previous 52-week high and made a new high at $52.28 and now up 5.90% and trades at $52.05. So far in 2009, SALM is up over 35%.

Compellent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: CML) surged 11.65% to $21.93 after making a new 52-week high at $21.97 earlier in the session. Today, CML announced the pricing of its public offering of 3,340,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $19.25 per share. The shares of common stock sold in the offering include 100,000 shares sold by Compellent and 3,240,000 shares sold by existing stockholders.
