NetVRk Launches SilkAI, Aims To Deliver Hyperintelligent AI Agents To Metaverse

Blockchain-powered metaverse platform NetVRk on Monday introduced SilkAI, an artificial intelligence system designed to enhance virtual environments with hyperintelligent AI agents and NPCs.

The launch marks NetVRk's expansion into the AI sector, integrating lifelike digital companions into gaming and metaverse applications.

SilkAI’s system enables the creation of AI-driven 3D avatars and autonomous agents, designed to interact with users in real time, according to a release shared with Benzinga.

The AI technology focuses on realistic emotional mimicry, body language, and conversational depth, aiming to offer a more immersive virtual experience.

NetVRk's latest development follows an increasing demand for AI-powered digital interactions in metaverse platforms.

SilkAI introduces self-learning AI agents that can function as independent influencers, generating content, engaging with audiences and managing digital accounts.

According to NetVRk Co-founder and CEO Michael Katseli, “SilkAI is capitalizing on the rapid growth of the AI agent industry to enhance NetVRk’s ecosystem by integrating cutting-edge AI technology.”

SilkAI also plans to introduce fully autonomous AI agents capable of functioning as influencers, managing accounts, creating content, and analyzing audiences.

SilkAI enters a market where AI-driven NPCs and metaverse interactions are seeing increased adoption. Competing with platforms like Character AI and Replika, SilkAI aims to attract users frustrated with restrictive filters and limited customization.

The company's approach could reshape how AI agents function in virtual economies, as NetVRk's broader metaverse strategy aligns with trends in AI-enhanced blockchain ecosystems.

With SilkAI operating as a separate entity, NetVRk expects to maintain its development roadmap while leveraging AI's expanding role in virtual environments.
