Benzinga's Top ETF Gainers (TZA, DRV, FAZ, SPXU)

U.S. equity market struggled today, after another disappointing initial claims report. Bear market ETFs posted significant gains, and Direxion Small Cap Bear 3X Shares (ETF) TZA was the best among them, with an increase of 8.00%. TZA gained on the weakness in the Russell 2000 Index. Direxion Daily Real Estate Bear 3X (ETF) DRV jumped 7.38%, as Simon Property Group, Inc SPG dropped 2.47 points, or 2.69%. Kimco Realty Corporation KIM fell 4.23% and Vornado Realty Trust VNO lost 2.95%. Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares(ETF) FAZ added 6.37% on Thursday, as the financial sector experienced another sell off. Bank of America Corporation BAC lost 2.25% today, and PNC Financial Services PNC fell 3.50%. ProShares UltraPro Short S&P 500 (ETF) SPXU gained 5.16% today, and closed at $33.23. It had a volume of 7.09M traded shares. SPXU seeks to replicate the performance equal to triple the inverse of the daily performance of the S&P 500.
