Kanye West, Elon Musk Or Joe Rogan? Here's Who's Next In Line To Launch A Crypto Coin, According To Kalshi Traders

Infamous rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is the most likely celebrity to next launch a meme coin, according to prediction market platform Kalshi.

What Happened: Trader assign a 47% chance to Ye launching a meme coin in 2025, followed by Elon Musk (16%) and Joe Rogan (11%).

West's odds were fueled by February rumours about him working on a meme coin named XYZ. He later shut down speculation, saying, "I'm not doing a coin. I make products. I only do things I'm passionate and knowledgeable about. I'm too rich to do anything else. Coins prey on the fans with hype."

Despite this denial, West hinted at a deeper interest in blockchains by following Olaf Carlson-Wee, founder of Polychain Capital, a top crypto investment firm.

Elon Musk, despite his influence on cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin DOGE/USD and Bitcoin BTC/USD, has no plans to launch a new crypto in 2025.

While Joe Rogan commented favorably on cryptocurrencies in 2022, there is no indication of launching a crypto in 2025.

Why It Matters: Celebrity-backed cryptocurrencies, such as Donald Trump's official Trump TRUMP/USD and Melania Trump's Melania MELANIA/USD meme coins trended at the start of the year but have experienced sharp drops since.

TRUMP has lost over $10 billion in market capitalization, while MELANIA is down over $12 billion.
