The NYSE Arca Pharmaceutical Index (DRG) moved up about 0.24%, while the NYSE Arca Biotechnology Index (BTK) rose about 0.18%. The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) moved down about 0.87%, along with the broader market. Financial stocks were the top decliners in the S&P 500 Index.
