Court Denies SKH’s Motion For Mistrial

Analysts at Oppenheimer & Co reiterate their "outperform" rating on Skilled Healthcare Group SKH. The target price for SKH is set to $10. According to Oppenheimer & Co, “The Humboldt County Court in California has denied Skilled Healthcare's previously filed Motion for Mistrial or New Trial in the Humboldt County Lavender case. The court also granted an order for permanent injunction requiring that Skilled Healthcare's California skilled nursing facilities provide specified nurse staffing levels, comply with specified state and federal laws governing staffing levels and posting requirements, and provide reports and information to a monitor.” “The company subsequently filed a notice of appeal on the injunction to the court of appeals, which defers enforcement of the injunction until resolution of the appeal. While SKH has lost its Motion for Mistrial, we note that no final judgment has been rendered and settlement discussions are ongoing,” the analysts add. More Analyst Ratings here
