The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. Announces August Sales (BONT)

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. BONT today announced comparable store sales for the four weeks ended August 28, 2010 decreased 4.6%. Total sales for the four weeks decreased 5.0% to $187.2 million compared with $197.0 million for the prior year period. Year-to-date comparable store sales increased 0.8%. Year-to-date total sales increased 0.4% to $1,457.1 million compared with $1,450.8 million for the same period last year.
