TUI Travel Posts Narrower Loss

posted a narrower pretax loss in the six months ended March 31. TUI Travel's pretax loss narrowed to 386.0 million pounds ($651.1 million), versus a year-ago loss of GBP410 million. Its revenue dropped to GBP5.2 billion from GBP5.4 billion. TUI Travel also lifted its interim dividend by 8% to 4.05 pence.
