Goldcorp Acquires Andean Resources, Shares Fall

Goldcorp Inc GG has signed an agreement with Andean Resources Ltd to purchase all the remaining shares of Andean Resources Ltd for a sum of around $3.6 billion CAD ($3.4 billion). The deal values the shares of Andean Resources Ltd at a 35% premium to its Toronto’s closing price on September 2. GG’s shares lost 2.85% to $42.55 at 9:33 am. Read more from Benzinga's Company news.
