Analysts are expecting Smithfield Foods SFD to have earned $0.46 per share in the first-quarter. SFD’s shares lost 2.51% to close at $16.30 yesterday. Phillips-Van Heusen Corp PVH swung to a Q2 loss of $0.83 per share, from a profit of $0.51 per share, in the year-ago period. The company would have posted its earnings at $0.72 per share, after excluding one-time items. The company’s revenue came in at $1.1 billion, as compared to $529.3 million, in the year-ago quarter. PVH’s shares rose 1.98% to $51.50 in the after-hours trading session. Men's Wearhouse Inc MW may post its Q2 EPS at $0.78. MW’s shares fell 2.20% to close at $20.89 yesterday. The Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack PBY reported its Q2 profit at $0.20 per share, up from $0.15 per share, in the year-ago period. The company posted its revenue at $504.9 million, as compared to $488.9 million, in the year-ago quarter. PBY’s shares moved up 0.81% to $9.94 in after-hours trading.
