Cincinnati Bell Names New President of Communications Business

Cincinnati Bell Inc. CBB named Theodore H. Torbeck as the president and general manager of Cincinnati Bell Communications. In this new role, Mr. Torbeck will have responsibility for the planning, marketing, sales and operation of all of the communications lines of business at Cincinnati Bell including all consumer and business wireline and wireless products. He will report to Cincinnati Bell Chief Executive Officer Jack Cassidy. Mr. Torbeck is currently the chief executive officer of Freedom Group, Inc., the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of firearms and related products with globally recognized brands including Remington and Bushmaster. Prior to this role, he served as the vice president of operations for General Electric GE Industrial; president and CEO of GE's Rail Services business; and vice president of global supply chain for GE Aircraft Engines.
