Benzinga’s Top Pre- Market Losers (ACAS, ERIC, VOD, BIDU, QQQQ, GOLD)

American Capital Ltd. (NASDAQ: ACAS) tumbled 1.04% to $2.85 in the pre-market session. Yesterday, American Capital announced that it has entered into an agreement with lenders holding 95% of its credit line to support a plan to avoid bankruptcy. The 52 week trading range for ACAS is $0.58 - $7.39.

Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (ADR) (NASDAQ: ERIC) plunged 2% to $9.65 after Telefonaktiebolaget LM reported that ERIC has received an order to upgrade Telekom Austria’s mobile network in Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Lichtenstein, Serbia and Slovakia. So far in 2009, ERIC gained over 25%.

Vodafone Group Plc (ADR) (NASDAQ: VOD) fell 1.74% to $22.65 in the pre-market session. Vodafone Czech Republic today announced that it has introduced the Samsung S7550 Blue Earth. The 52 week trading range for VOD is $15.46 - $23.85. So far in 2009, VOD climbed up around 12%.

Baidu, Inc.(ADR) (NASDAQ: BIDU) fell 0.83% to $436.05 after Baidu was cut to Market Perform at Bernstein. So far this year, BIDU is up over 230%.

PowerShares QQQ Trust, Series 1 (ETF) (NASDAQ: QQQQ) decreased $0.06 or 0.14% to $43.45 in the pre-market session. The 52 week trading range for QQQQ is $25.63 - $44.65. So far in 2009, QQQQ gained over 45%.

Randgold Resources Ltd. (ADR) (NASDAQ: GOLD) declined 0.54% to $84.80 after Randgold Resources today announced that it had a material increase in Kibali gold project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. So far this year, GOLD is up over 90%.
