Tyco International Announces Filing of Form for Planned Spin-Off

Tyco International Ltd. TYC today announced the filing of an initial Form 10 Registration Statement with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) in connection with the company's previously-announced plan to pursue a spin-off of its Electrical & Metal Products business. The spin-off is subject to a number of conditions including completion of a review process by the SEC, final approval by Tyco's Board of Directors and approval by Tyco's shareholders.
