ITW Issues Earnings Projection

Illinois Tool Works Inc ITW has issued its guidance for the third quarter and for 2010. ITW has projected its Q3 operating income at $0.72-$0.84 per share. The company has forecasted earnings of $2.82-$3.08 per share for 2010. The Wall Street analysts had expected Q3 earnings at $0.81 per share and 2010 profit at $3.04 per share.
