New York, NY (PRWEB) September 05, 2014

Ticket Down is a dependable source for affordable Cher concert tickets for her 2014 D2K tour. To the delight of her millions of fans in North America, she has added more dates to her 2014 "Dressed to Kill" tour.

One of the greatest entertainers in the history of the music business will be back at it in 2014 with the "Dressed to Kill Tour." This superstar entertainer goes by just a single name and has tour extensively around the world: Cher. As strange as it may seem, this will only be the sixth tour in the career of the 68-year-old superstar. The last time she toured the world, it was for her "Living Proof: The Farewell Tour." Her 2014 D2K tour has been such a smashing success that she has added additional tour dates for her loyal fans.

Cher is one of the most seasoned live performers in the industry. Her first tour from 1980-82 covered just a handful of shows, but her second venture on the road netted her more than 60 shows. She immediately hit the road for another 29 performance tour and took a lengthy break before the "Do You Believe? Tour." This tour sent her around the world from North American to Africa and Europe before returning to the North America again. Cher took another couple years off from touring before going on her farewell tour. The tour began in June 2002 and concluded in April 2005 and spanned a record-breaking 325 dates.

She recently released her 25th career studio album. Her solo career began with the release of "All I Really Want to Do," but it wasn't until "1971 and the release of "Gypsy, Tramps & Thieves" that her career as a solo artist began to reach the heights of superstardom. Despite her popularity on the touring circuit, the same can't be said of her albums as she has yet to have a No. 1 album release. She's hoping to change that as she gets ready for this tour.

In her extensive career in the music business, Cher has released 82 singles, many of which have cracked the Billboard Hot 100 charts. She has seen four songs reach the top spot on the American charts (Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves, Half-Breed, Dark Lady and Believe). Believe was released in 1998 and is arguably the most popular Cher song ever to be released around the world. Not only did the song reach the top spot on the American charts, it did the same in Canada, Australia, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
