Winthrop Realty Trust Announces Public Offering of 3,000,000 Common Shares

Winthrop Realty Trust FUR today announced that it has commenced an offering of 3,000,000 common shares of beneficial interest in a registered public offering underwritten by Barclays Capital Inc. Management and its affiliates have agreed to purchase in the offering 200,000 common shares at the same price as will be initially offered by the underwriter to others. Winthrop intends to use the proceeds from the sale for additional investments and general corporate purposes.
