In a report published Thursday, Credit Suisse analyst Allison M. Landry downgraded the rating on
Norfolk Southern Corp.NSC from Outperform to Neutral, and lowered the price target from $122.00 to $115.00.
In the report, Credit Suisse noted, “We are downgrading our investment opinion on NSC to Neutral from Outperform. Our DCF-derived target price falls to $115 (from $122) due to lower base year EBIT, which leaves ~9% upside. Our FY14 EPS estimate is unchanged at $6.48, while our FY15 and FY16 EPS forecasts fall to $7.25 and $8.11, from $7.37 and $8.18, respectively.”
Norfolk Southern Corp. closed on Wednesday at $105.20.
