Jefferies Discusses Consumer Products Sector (AVP)

Jefferies & Co. has a research report on the consumer products sector, and in particular Avon Products, Inc. AVP. In the research report, Jefferies writes, "Commentary and Analysis this week shows that while the March quarter represented this year's high water mark for most currency tailwinds, modest improvement since the last earnings cycle could provide a boost to September quarter earnings and 2010E outlooks. Yen strength most benefits NUS, while the stabilizing - and in fact strengthening euro broadly benefits our Group." Shares of Avon gained 39 cents or 1.2% to close at $32.19 on Friday.
