American Realty Capital Properties ARCP shares slipped 20.84% to $9.80 after the company announced non-reliance on previously issued financial statements and changes in accounting personnel. The company named Michael Sodo as CFO and Gavin Brandon as Chief Accounting Officer. Xoom XOOM shares declined 19.70% to $15.62. XOOM reported Q3 earnings of $0.08 per share on revenue of $39.4 million. Xoom also announced the resignation of CFO Ryno Blignaut. Orbital Sciences ORB shares slipped 14.06% to $26.10 as unmanned Antares rocket exploded on launch. Aspen Technology AZPN shares fell 12.92% to $35.12 on Q1 results. Epiq Systems EPIQ shares declined 12% to $17.23 on downbeat quarterly results. Applied Micro Circuits AMCC shares dropped 8.72% to $6.28 after the company reported downbeat quarterly results. Facebook FB shares declined 5.74% to $76.13. Facebook reported better-than-expected third-quarter earnings. The company also reported that its monthly active users rose to 1.35 billion from 1.19 billion in the year-ago period. Facebook's COO Sheryl Sandberg said the Q4 will be a more difficult comparison. The company also said it projected Q4 sales growth in the range of 40% to 47%.
