Mosaic Announces the Completion of Fosfertil Sale for $1B

The Mosaic Company MOS announced today the completion of its previously announced sale of its investment in Vale Fertilizantes S.A. to a subsidiary of Vale S.A. for gross proceeds of approximately $1.0 billion. This transaction will have no impact on Mosaic's significant crop nutrient blending and distribution business in Brazil and its SSP production and port activities at the Paranagua complex.
