Digital River, Inc. DRIV, a leading global provider of
Commerce-as-a-Service solutions, announced it has entered into new strategic
alliance partnership agreements with Rauxa, Inc., an independent, full-service
marketing agency, and Slalom Consulting, a business and technology consulting
firm. Through these partnerships, Digital River is extending the value of its
SaaS-based commerce solution, making it easier for clients to add specialized,
third-party consulting services and complementary web content management (WCM)
system technologies.
“By continuing to build a strong network of preferred commerce service
provider partners, we can offer our clients access to additional sources of
expert services as well as pre-built integrations into best-in-class
applications that extend and enhance the capabilities of their online stores,”
said Thomas Peterson, executive vice president and general manager of commerce
at Digital River. “Our goal is to help our clients reduce the time and costs
typically associated with custom integrations while driving world-class online
experiences that are localized for shoppers around the world.”
As part of Digital River's Global Partner Network, Rauxa and Slalom Consulting
will combine the power of Digital River's enterprise commerce platform with
complementary business services and technology capabilities. Rauxa will
facilitate pre-built integrations between Digital River's platform and leading
third-party WCM technologies. Slalom Consulting will provide implementations
and integrations that extend Digital River's platform, including its commerce
business infrastructure (CBI), to companies expanding their commerce
operations into new geographies. Digital River's CBI manages and takes on the
risk of multi-national taxation, global payments, export controls, and other
regulatory compliance requirements.
“Working with Digital River, we can connect companies with one of the world's
top global commerce solutions and some of the most sophisticated shopper
experiences available on the market today,” said Gage Short, vice president of
technology and alliances from Rauxa.
“We are looking forward to combining our strategy and implementation services
with Digital River's CBI and the other global aspects of its platform.
Together, we will help companies create custom commerce solutions that
strengthen and expand their brands across geographies worldwide,” said Gilbert
Wong, digital strategy and commerce national practice director of Slalom
Consulting.
Digital River's Global Partner Network offers online merchants easy access to
services from leading, enterprise-class commerce service providers that focus
on areas such as system integrations, agency services, logistics, marketplace
and app exchanges, and business consulting.
