LUV Reports 5.1% Rise In Total September Traffic

Southwest Airlines Co LUV reported a 5.1% increase in its total September traffic. The company's total September traffic came in at more than 6.06 billion revenue passenger miles, up from 5.77 billion revenue passenger miles, in the year-ago period. LUV's total September capacity increased 4.7% y/y to 8.08 billion available seat miles. The company's load factor increased to 75%, up from 74.7%, in the year-ago period.
