Gold Fields Ltd. GFI posted a net profit last year.
Gold Fields posted a net profit of $12.8 million in the year, versus a year-ago net loss of $296 million.
Its revenue fell 1.3% to $2.87 billion in the year.
The company posted a Q4 net loss of $26 million, versus a year-ago net loss of $491 million. Normalised earnings gained to $17 million versus $14 million.
Gold Fields produced 556 thousand ounces of gold in the quarter.
The company's board declared a final dividend of $0.20 South African Rand per share.
Gold Fields shares fell 0.73% to close at $5.47 yesterday.
