Dow Falls Below 11,000 (DJIA, BAC, IBM, AA, MSFT)

Stocks have continued to come under pressure Tuesday after a report that a consortium that includes the New York Fed wants to force Bank of America BAC to buy back $47 billion of mortgage bonds. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) is off 194 points, or 1.75%, to 10,948. IBM IBM has been a drag on the dow; its shares are lower by 4%. Alcoa AA is lower by more than 3% while Microsoft MSFT is down 2.95%.
