Jordan Spieth become the second-youngest player to ever win the Masters Tournament. In doing so, he tied the 72-hole course record set by the youngest-ever Masters champion, Tiger Woods in 1997. It was Spieth's first major win.
Speith's historic weekend also brought major coverage to another brand: Under Armour Inc UA.
While still at the University of Texas, Spieth entered the professional golfing ranks and was scooped up by Under Armour in January 2013. "Throughout my athletic career I've worn Under Armour products and have always been impressed with how well their technology performs both on and off the course," Spieth said in a release at the time. "It's an honor to represent the Under Armour brand and join their roster of world-class athletes."
Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank spoke with ESPN's Darren Rovell on Sunday. "Thanks to Jordan, our company grew up today," Plank said. "He was challenged by the greatest players in the world on the biggest stage, looked them straight in the eye and never blinked. This is a global event and he's the leading trending athlete in the world right now."
Shares of Under Armour were up more than 1 percent at $84.62 in Monday's pre-market.
Its all-time closing high stands at $84.49.
What's Twitter Saying?
Under Armour's deal w/Spieth guarantees that no other logo -- other than Titleist on his glove -- will be on his body through 2025.

One of the last guys that Spieth hugged on way to clubhouse was Under Armour's @Ryan_Kuehl, the company's senior director of golf
