The SEC accused Office Depot, Inc. ODP and a few retired executives of providing certain analysts and shareholders with selective information. Office Depot settled the case with the SEC by paying with some staplers and paper clips. Carl Icahn and Lionsgate LGF are stepping up their bid for MGM's film library, which includes the James Bond series. Icahn sees himself replacing Daniel Craig in the Bond series. I guess they're going for the geriatric demographic. Bank of America BAC and J.P. Morgan JPM are in talks to settle the probe on foreclosure practices, put forth by state attorney generals. Bank of America is offering shares in the company as part of the repayment, but state attorney generals already said they have enough toilet paper.
