Below is a list of key movers after the closing bell on Wednesday.
AeroVironment, Inc. AVAV climbed 11.43 percent over the day, and an extra 2.98 percent after-hours to $29.06. The company beat expectations for its fourth quarter financial results.
Although it delivered an 11 percent year-over-year decline in earnings to $0.31 per share, it still surpassed the Street’s consensus of $0.18 per share by a wide margin. In addition, revenue climbed 17.6 percent year-over-year, from $73.5 million to $86.5 million.
SINA Corp SINA rose 2.82 percent to $53.30 on late Wednesday, after falling 3.22 percent over the trading day. According to Chinese media outlets, no particular Thursday-morning developments seem to be driving the surge.
Golar LNG Limited (USA) GLNG also seems to be recuperating from Wednesday’s 1.67 percent tumble.
After the bell, the stock rose 2.3 percent to $47.07. The company recently announced a new 50/50 joint venture with Stolt-Nielsen Limited SOIEF, aimed at pursuing opportunities in small-scale LNG production and distribution.
magicJack VocalTec Ltd CALL also rose by 1.9 percent after the bell. The stock is recuperating some of the ground lost during the day, over which it fell 4.31 percent.
Same as Monday, Flamel Technologies S.A. (ADR) FLML is also a mover; the French biotech company dropped 1.6 percent on Wednesday trading following the reveal of a Hold rating at Zacks.
